Fall 12: Thom Browne

Traditional prints get crazy over at Thom Brown.  Plaids are created using spikes or inlaid with studs.  Boat-deck style anchors and dog prints adorn S & M masks, and jail striped knits are stretched over larger-than-life-sized shoulders.  Influences include Road Warrior, Rocky Horror, Blade Runner, The Longest Yard, Despicable Me, The Incredibles.

Pansy fever has hit the runways and Gucci brings this happy faced floral center stage. We also like the animal print update with zebra stripes morphing into chevron and other non-traditional forms.

Amarinalevin Handknits

These children's sweaters were knitted by a very special woman who started making sweaters when her children were very small, the imagery inspired by their favorite books and characters. Though her kids are grown now, she continues to create these one of a kind treasures on etsy to us lucky consumers.
